All probe needles need to be cleaned, but Alliance Sales can offer some new technology and introduce you to a whole range of probe needle cleaning products by ITS. 

ITS products come in four editions for the different types of probe cards and needles which might be used:

1. "Probe Clean" - a sticky film with no abrasion, removes debris by adhesion.

2. "Probe Scrub" - a sticky film with an abrasive base, adds a scrub element at the bottom of the sticky-film.

3. "Probe Polish" - a sticky film which has abrasive grit in it.

4. "Probe Form" - a sticky film with an abrasive quality designed to restore the shape of the probe needle tip.

Designed to be used within the prober, these products remove nearly all contaminants and as a result reduce contact resistance and improve yield.

In physical terms these are available as:

1. product with adhesive back for you to attach, in many sizes to stick onto a cleaning chuck, for example

2. wafers (polymer on silicon wafer) in different sizes

3. specialised product for you to attach to TEL wide area cleaning pads
